Pam grew up in Armonk, NY (in Westchester), spending time playing field hockey, lacrosse, skiing on the ski team and spending most weekends in Vermont and summering in the Hamptons.
Pam graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans and then spent a year in Los Angeles managing one of GUESS’ first retail stores. She returned to New York City and worked in the fashion industry for 10 years to pursue both a love for fashion and matching that fashion to the consumer through merchandising.
Elie Tahari was the first stop, where Pam eventually ran the suit division which she grew from $6 million to over $10 million in sales while working with Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and other high-end retailers around the country. Later she joined Calvin Klein and Giorgio Armani in San Francisco where she had moved with her husband who was active in the dot.com revolution in the late ‘90’s.
Eventually, they made the decision to move back east and in looking for the perfect community on one bright, sunny day in February, stopped in East Hampton, where the parking lot behind the Barefoot Contessa was completely full. They were convinced that the Hamptons were a year-round home where they could bring up their children.
Elie Tahari Ltd. asked Pam to manage their first store in East Hampton but after a couple years, she took another few years off to raise their three children, ultimately enrolling them in Ross and Southampton Elementary. In the last year she has returned to the work force to do what she loves the most, connecting fashion and lifestyle to the right consumer in Hampton Real Estate for Town & Country in Bridgehampton.
She enjoys tennis, yoga, and spends time every year in Argentina, Uruguay and Breckenridge, CO.
